I never seem to understand why Fox News doesn’t fall under the “Comedy” category at the Emmy Awards. Apparently it’s a news program? Well, Fox News, you had me going!
Trying to connect presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, with a younger demographic, the “news” program invited recent college graduate, Max Rice, on the show to discuss how Obama let him down, and why Romney is the answer.
Little did producers know, his opinion was not the one they were interested in broadcasting. Furthermore, the only reason he agreed to appear on the program because he lost a basketball game to a friend of his. My guess is, someone over at Fox & Friends is in the process of getting fired.
Rice later explained, “I don’t care if there’s any negative press about me. I think there’s a greater issue. Our media should be a tool to educate the masses, instead of getting ratings and selling Cheetos. This is proof.”
Well played, Max Rice, well played. Better played than that basketball game!
